On Saturday in Istanbul ended Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week. It was five days of beautiful, interesting and amazing projects from Turkish fashion world. TV celebrities, famous actresses, models, businesswomen and fashion bloggers came to this world-famous fashion event.
MBFWI was held in the hall Antrepo 3, adjacent to the museum "Istanbul Modern", in two halls of the "Runway" and "Studio". Some of runways took place in private, outside the hall. Show of the famous designer Özgür Masur was presented at the Consulate General of the French Republic, the Turkish designer who lives permanently in Paris Arzu Kaprol invited to view her collection also to the private show. In this year MBFWI was attended by over forty Turkish designers. Eight of them were presented for the first time.
Mercedes- Benz supports some of designers, this season it was the brand "Lug Von Siga". Very interesting project and collection. Good choice! I liked the silver blouse. All the collection I find very interesting.
My favorite of the whole week was the DB Berdan brand. Created by mother and daughter, Deniz and Begüm Berdan. Fantastic, unique, eye-catching duo. Vivid colors, good fabrics and good music during the runway. Excellent show, a lot of positive energy.
On the MBFWI we also had model representations from Poland: Wiola Kowal from Rebel Models, Maryia Rehilevich from Mango Models, and Blażej from Panda Models.
