It came the time to start preparing salads, instead potato pancakes:)
Let's start from Greek Salad
Ingredients:
- salad
- cherry tomatoes
- feta cheese
- onions
- pepper
- olives
- cucumber
Sauce:
- olive oil
- lemon juice
- vinegar
- mustard
- pepper powder
- salt and pepper
- basil (dried)
- parsley (dried)
- garlic
Preperation:
Wash all of vegetables. Cucumber and peppers cut in very small pieces. Onion cut round. Put all in a bowl (do not mix). At the very bottom put salad and cucumber. At the very top place the feta cheese and olives. In the end add sauce.
Sauce:
Chop the garlic, put to olive oil and move to aside for some time. Then remove the garlic. Add lemon juice to the olive oil and mix well. At the end add the vinegar and other spices: mustard, pepper powder, basil, salt and pepper and parsley.
Mix very thoroughly and allow to stand for at least several hours, the longer the better.
