Let's say Ukrainian borscht (Barszcz Ukrainski)


Ingredients :
- bay leaf
- grains allspice
- salt, pepper
- beets
- potatoes
- greens
- pea or white beans
- garlic
- onion
- sour cream
- sugar
- lemon

Preperation:

In pot put water and add bay leaf, grains allspice, salt and pepper.
Add peeled, diced, raw beets, potatoes, greens, including onion and garlic. Bring to boil, then reduce the heat. Add beens (beens should be leave in the water for night, and next day cook separately). Put a bit sugar and lemon juice. Before serving add some cream.
